Why is Hydrocortisone Butyrate used?
Hydrocortisone butyrate is used topically to treat a variety of skin conditions including:
All kinds of eczema.
Dermatitis.
Allergic dermatitis.
psoriasis
Do not use hydrocortisone butyrate:
If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
If your skin condition is caused by an infection (athlete\'s foot, herpes...)
If you suffer from skin problems associated with syphilis (a sexually transmitted disease) or tuberculosis.
For the treatment of perioral dermatitis.
For the treatment of pimples (acne).
If you have redness of the facial skin.
Warnings and Precautions:
Tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including:
If you are going to use it on your face or sensitive areas.
If you are going to use it on large areas of your skin.
If you are going to use it on skin folds or under coverings (such as bandages).
if you are using it to treat psoriasis. It should be used for a short period of time.
Possible side effects:
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; chest or throat tightness; trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is not known.
Side effects include:
Thinning, redness, stretching and discoloration of the skin
Suppressing the secretion of stress hormones
Blurred vision

How to use hydrocortisone butyrate:
This medicine is suitable for adults and children.
This medicine is for external use.
Use this drug as directed by your doctor.
Wash your hands before and after use.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area and massage it in gently.
Apply to the affected area once or twice daily, but not more often.
How to store hydrocortisone butyrate:
Store at room temperature below 77°F (25°C).
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
*The form and route of administration of Hydrocortisone Butyrate 0.1% Ointment, 0.1% Lipocreme, and 0.1% Scalp Lotion should be described according to the indication and severity of the disease for each individual patient.
