What desloratadine is used for:

• Desloratadine which is an antihistamine is an antiallergy medicine that does not make you drowsy.
• It helps control your allergic reaction and its symptoms.

Do not use desloratadine :

• If you are allergic to desloratadine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Warnings and precautions:

Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before taking Desloratadine:

• If you have poor kidney function
• If you have a medical or familial history of seizures

Possible side effects:

• Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop throat tightness or swelling of the eyes, face, lips or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.
• Stop using the product if you develop hives or itching of the face or body.

Other medicines and desloratadine:

• There are no known interactions of desloratadine with other medicines.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.

How to use desloratadine:

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Adults and adolescents aged 12 years of age and over.
• The recommended dose is one tablet once a day, with water with or without food.
• This medicine is for oral use.
• Swallow the tablet whole.

How to store desloratadine:

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after EXP.
• The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
• This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
• Do not use this medicine if you notice any changes in the appearance of the tablets.
• Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
