Salicylate - Menthol Spray
What salicylate - menthol is used for:
- A warming pain-relieving spray for the relief of muscular and rheumatic pain, lumbago, fibrositis, sciatica, sprains, strains and stiffness.
Do not use salicylate - menthol:
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients
- On children under 5 years of age
- On broken or damaged skin, or on open cuts
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor tells you to
Warnings and precautions:
- See your doctor before using if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have asthma
Possible side effects:
- Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop throat tightness or swelling of the eyes, face, lips or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.
- Stop using the product if you develop hives or itching of the face or body.
Other medicines and salicylate - menthol:
- Consult your doctor if you are taking any other medicines, including: medicines that thin the blood, prevent clots (e.g. aspirin) or any other prescribed medicines.
How to use salicylate - menthol:
- Keep the spray away from the eyes, face, lining of mouth, throat and nose, and other sensitive areas of the body.
- Do not inhale the spray. Apply to the skin only. Hold the can 6 inches (15 cm) away from the skin.
- Adults and children of 5 years and over: Spray the painful area with 2 or 3 short bursts of spray.
How to store salicylate – menthol:
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store below 30°C. Protect from sunlight
- Do not use after the ‘Use by’ date shown on the bottom of the can.
- Danger: Pressurized container. Do not pierce or burn even after use.
- Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces – No smoking.
- Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source.
- Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking.
