Product Description:
Fevadol Plus consists of three active ingredients; Paracetamol, codeine and caffeine. This combination of active ingredients is used to relieve moderate pain.
How to use:
Adults Take 1 to 2 tablets orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Make sure not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Adolescents aged 16 to 18 years Take 1 to 2 tablets orally every 6 hours as needed. Make sure not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Adolescents aged 12 to 15 years Take 1 tablet orally every 6 hours as needed. Make sure not to exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
Children under 12 years of age Do not give this medication to children under 12 years of age.
Ingredients:
This combination consists of three active ingredients;Paracetamol, codeine and caffeine.Paracetamol is a medication that belongs to a class of medications known as analgesics (painkillers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). Codeine phosphate is a medication that belongs to a class of medicines known as “opioid analgesics”, it is a moderate painkiller and mild antitussive (suppresses cough). Caffeine is used to increase the absorption of Paracetamol and to enhance its analgesic effect. This combination of active ingredients is used to relieve moderate pain.
Caution & Warnings:
Talk to your doctor and stop taking the medication if your pain is not relieved within 3 days or if you are feeling worse or new signs or symptoms have started.
Take tablet with or without food. Take after food if you experience stomach ache.
Take tablet with a full glass of water.
Do not take a higher than recommended dose and do not take the medication more frequently than every 4 hours.
Do not take this medication with other Paracetamol or codeine containing medications.
If you forget to take Paracetamol/ codeine/ caffeine
This medication is taken on an as needed basis. You can still take your missed dose if needed. Make sure to space your doses by at least 4 hours and do not exceed the maximum allowed dose per day.
If you stop taking Paracetamol/ codeine/ caffeine
This medication is taken on an as needed basis. If you are still not feeling well and decide to stop taking the medication, make sure to contact your doctor for advice.
Although it may be rare, some patients may experience undesirable side effects when taking a medication. Contact your healthcare provider if you experience any side effect. Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you have any of the following signs or symptoms:
Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Signs of breathing problems like difficulty breathing. These signs are more likely to happen if you have previously experienced them after taking similar painkiller medications like aspirin and ibuprofen.
Sudden weight loss, nausea, yellowing of the skin and eyes and loss of appetite.
Unexplained bleeding or bruising.
Sharp and sudden stomach pain, nausea and vomiting if you have recently had your gallbladder removed.

How to store Paracetamol/ codeine/ caffeine
Keep out of the reach of children and pets
Do not store medication at a temperature above 25°C
Do not use beyond the expiry date mentioned on the box
Keep medication in its original pack to protect it from moisture and light
Do not use damaged pills
Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, plan on getting pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Do not take this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Codeine can cross your breast milk and therefore may cause harm to your baby.
Driving and using machines
This medication may cause side effects like drowsiness and dizziness, which can impact your ability to drive and use machineries. Make sure to avoid driving or using machineries if you are not feeling well.
If you are allergic to Paracetamol, Codeine or Caffeine, opioids or any of the ingredients in this
medicine. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.
If you are taking other Paracetamol containing products. Make sure not to exceed the dose.
If you have breathing difficulties or asthma.
If you are chronically constipated.
If you are breastfeeding.
If you have recently had a biliary duct surgery.
If you are taking or have taken during the previous 14 days medications that are known as MAO inhibitors (used for depression).
If you have had a previous head injury or a problem that causes increased intracranial pressure (increased pressure in your head).
If you are aware that your body usually converts codeine into morphine very rapidly.
